They will hear from other local Olderpreneurs who have gone ahead and started. They will also be able to find out more about support available from PRIME and network with other 50s wanting to start up on their own.

New Year New Start event. Get your 2011 off to a good start with some help and advice on

between 1.00pm and 5.00pm

Over a dozen organisations will be attending this information and support afternoon: Learning Partnerships; PATH Yorkshire; Nari Ekta; Leeds City College; SHINE Business Centre; The Biz Centre; Slivers of Time / Driver Hire; The Prince’s Trust Enterprise Programme; Leeds, York & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce;  Everything’s Possible; Feel Good Factor; Business and Patent Information Services; the Jobseekers’ Advice Service from Leeds Libraries; and Europe Direct Leeds.

So come along to find out how they can help.

Face painting and craft activities will be available for children. Light refreshments will be served and anyone attending the event can enter a prize draw for shopping vouchers.

The Compton Centre is located at the junction of Harehills Lane and Compton Road, in the Harehills area of the city, LS9 7BG.
