Looking After Number One: A guide to protecting your music copyright

Our very own Ged was on the panel of this which took place in Manchester on 25/8/10 hosted by Manchester libraries

This event will make you aware of the intellectual property issues you should think about.
Ged Doonan is a Business and Patents Librarian at Leeds Libraries.  Using local band Zap Zap Zap! as a practical example, he will illustrate the potential pitfalls on the road to stardom!
Followed by a panel discussion with Nigel Gardner, a director at Cobbetts with expertise in media and music and John Robb a musician, journalist, author, TV pundit.He also fronts the band Goldblade.
Zap Zap Zap! have been gigging since 2008 and are playing at the Manchester Academy in September*
